The stock weight magazine catch spring is approximately 5lbs and the GTG reduced pound magazine catch brings the weight down to approximately 2.5lbs. Made from Stainless Steel Note- The 2.5 spring is designed as a drop in spring (not friction fit) since is half the spring weight.
